The Stuv BBQ clips neatly onto your new Stuv 30 (or  Stuv 21) stove and solves the problem at a stroke. The wipe clean stainless steel grill and pan locate easily at the front of the stove. The fire sears and cooks the food withouth the normal charring, and all the cooking smells go straight up the chimney.

Ok, so it takes a couple of goes before you get the knack completely but Rome wasn’t built in a day, and once you have the knack the results are superb and very easy.

Six enormous halls contained every conceivable stove, fireplace, flue system, fuel and accessory. Each hall was the size of four football pitches and the six halls were lined up side by side. The outside area displayed 101 options for log, pellet and woodchip processing.

With all the talk of fragile European economies, this really was a sight to behold with many thousands of trade visitors thronging the isles. The stove and flue industry is certainly thriving – and a great deal of British representation in both visitors and exhibitors too.

There was some excellent business done and great new contacts made.

This time last year the coldest of the weather was all but over, this year it hasn’t really started yet – though it is noticeably chilly today. Don’t be fooled, we have no inside knowledge, but do remember the coldest months are often February and March, so no need to order that new lawnmower just yet!

Whilst it is still sunny outside as the end of October nears, our minds are now heavily at Christmas and will soon be looking at January! If you are still debating a new fire or stove, why not have it ready to snuggle up to over the Christmas holidays. In fact, why not have it for when the snow hits in December as we are told to expect again this year! (We are blocking the rumours of November snow out of our heads!) At Dorking and Guildford Stoves, we have been busy bees and are now looking at installation firmly in December and at the rate that our customers are filing through the doors, do not expect pre-Christmas installations to last much longer. So visit us today to avoid disappointment!
